Why Choose The Dog Deacon
July 29, 2010 - Mark and Diesel obedience training in Hays, NC
The Dog Deacon holds a special place in my heart, named in honor of my late father, Kenneth Minton, who was a Deacon at Little Mountain Baptist Church. He discovered my once in a lifetime companion, Diesel, a Yellow Lab, in an IWanna classified ad. Unbeknownst to me, my father was struggling with terminal cancer at the time. Diesel became the foundation of my dog training and proved to be one of the most intelligent dogs I have ever encountered. Through training Diesel, I self-taught various aspects of dog training that I still utilize today. My father and Diesel have since both passed but their legacy lives on and will be felt forever.
As an experienced dog trainer of twenty years, I have experimented with various training methods and tools. Through my extensive experience, I have realized that each dog is unique and requires individualized attention. By considering factors such as age, breed, sex, behavior issues, past experiences, and past training, I develop a balanced training program tailored to the needs of both the dog and its owner. This program aims to bring out the best version of your dog in the shortest time possible, which will be different for every dog. To ensure each dog receives the proper care and attention it deserves, I limit the number of dogs in my home at any given time. This allows me to focus on each dog's unique needs and provide the necessary guidance to help it become the best version of itself. With my training methods, you can rest assured that your dog will receive the highest quality care and attention. Your dog will be trained by me exclusively, unlike some of my competitors. I care deeply about the outcomes of my training and it is my mission to improve the quality of life for dogs and their families. I give my heart and soul to every dog I train and would be delighted to have you and your dog join the Dog Deacon family.
Thank you for your consideration,
Mark Minton
